In full: Closing arguments in Derek Chauvin trial for murder of George Floyd | Day 15
Warning: The court may broadcast graphic material. Credit: COURT TV.
George Floyd's death in Minneapolis last May caused a national reckoning over race relations and police brutality in America, as well as a global protest movement over racial injustice.
The city is back in the international spotlight this month with the trial of Derek Chauvin, the white former police officer accused of killing Mr Floyd, a handcuffed and unarmed black man, by kneeling on his neck during his final moments.
The trial is viewed by many as a litmus test for racial change in the US, and is expected to attract a global audience, with viewers able to follow the proceedings live on TV each day.
Derek Chauvin is facing charges of second-degree unintentional murder and second-degree manslaughter. An additional charge of third-degree murder was requested by prosecutors and added after an appeal.

Derek Chauvin trial: Prosecution and defence make closing arguments
Prosecutors in Derek Chauvin's murder trial told the jury the case was not a prosecution of the police but of one rogue ex-officer, as they concluded their arguments in the closely-watched trial.
Footage of the white former officer kneeling on George Floyd, an unarmed black man, for more than nine minutes last May triggered mass protests across the US and a national reckoning on racial justice and police accountability.
Protesters have gathered outside the Minneapolis courthouse during the three-week trial to demand sweeping reforms to policing, including more rigorous prosecution of officers responsible for deaths in their custody.

Boris Johnson cancels India trip - but says it's not his call to put country on red list
Boris Johnson has insisted it is not up to him whether to put India on the "red list", after he cancelled his long-awaited visit to the country amid concerns over a record-breaking surge in cases.
The trip, which had already been scaled down from four days to just one, was cancelled just moments after Indian officials announced that New Dehli will enter a week-long lockdown from Monday night.
However this morning a Sage scientist said restricting travel to and from countries with concerning Covid outbreaks was a "political decision".

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has been told to leave a pub in Bath by its landlord while on a walkabout in the city.
The landlord shouted "that man is not allowed in my pub" and "get out of my pub" as Sir Keir, wearing a black face mask, walked out of the door, with the incident captured on camera by reporters.
It comes just days after a YouGov poll put Labour 14 percentage points behind the Tories - the biggest gap since this time last year.

Video of Nasa Mars Ingenuity helicopter's successful first flight on Red Planet
Nasa has made history in achieving the first powered, controlled flight on another planet in a feat expected to revolutionise space exploration.
The space agency said its $85m helicopter named Ingenuity had managed to ascend to around three metres above Mars, then hover for 30 seconds and rotate, and then descend.
It received images from Mars showing the helicopter in flight, as well as a picture from the helicopter itself.
It was deemed a "near impossible feat", given the perilously thin atmosphere on the planet, with Nasa having said that "the laws of physics may say it's near impossible to fly on Mars, but actually flying a heavier-than-air vehicle on the red planet is much harder than that".

European Super League analysis: 'It's about greed and money - the football fans don't matter'
The decision to create a European Super League "looks like it is just about money", according to The Telegraph's Chief Football Correspondent Jason Burt.
Six English clubs have announced they are joining a new breakaway European Super League, triggering a storm of criticism from football bodies and supporters groups.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham have linked up with six European clubs - three from Spain and three from Italy - to create a rival competition to the Champions League.
"It's hard not to accuse them of greed to be honest", Jason Burt said, "the money involved, the scale of the financing, how much money they expect to make out of this, it does seem to be first and foremost about money".

The Environment Secretary, who was Mr Cameron’s press secretary when he was leader of the opposition, told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “I think the key thing is that he has not broken any of the rules."

In full: Windsor hosts Prince Philip's funeral as gun salutes fired and minute's silence held
The Duke of Edinburgh's life and legacy were remembered during a funeral service reflecting his naval career, passion for engineering and dedication to the Queen.
During the poignant event attended by the Queen and his children and grandchildren, the duke was described as enriching the lives of all those he knew with his "kindness, humour and humanity".
In bright brilliant sunshine the funeral procession made its way through the precincts of the castle.
Prince Philip's children - Prince of Wales, Princess Royal, Duke of York and Earl of Wessex - walked behind his coffin carried by a Land Rover Defender hearse the Queen's consort helped design.
They were joined by the duke's grandsons the Duke of Sussex, Duke of Cambridge and Peter Phillips and Vice Admiral Tim Lawrence, the Princess Royal's husband, and the Queen's nephew the Earl of Snowdon.
The royals walked in step as a military band played and all stared straight ahead into the sun as they made their way to duke's final resting place.
