MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead guard JaMir Price has entered the transfer portal after one season with the Dragons men's
basketball program, sources confirmed to The Forum. Verbal Commits D2 also reported Friday on its X account (formerly Twitter) that Price is in the transfer portal. The 6-foot-3 Price was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference newcomer of the year and was also a first-team All-NSIC selection. Price was second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game. He played in 27 games, including 26 starts, missing four due to injury. The Dragons were 25-6 overall and 18-4 in the NSIC this past season, advancing to the NCAA Division II Central Region semifinals. Eventual national champion Minnesota State Mankato defeated the Dragons 78-55 in the region semifinals. ADVERTISEMENT The Dragons were ranked No. 1 in Division II coaches poll at one point during the regular season.
