Cosm Inks Deal With ESPN to Bring NBA, NHL, Tennis, College Football, and More to ‘Shared Reality’ Venues

Cosm continues to grow its portfolio of content to present in is its forthcoming immersive venues, inking a multi-year agreement with ESPN for NBA, NHL, US Open Tennis, College Football Regular Season and Playoff, Men’s and Women’s College Basketball, College Baseball and Softball, and select UFC Fight Nights. Cosm will produce and present these live events in “Shared Reality” – an experience that "bridges the virtual and physical worlds" through Cosm’s pioneered technology and 87-foot diameter, 8K+ LED domes. "What we’re doing with Cosm is a prime example of that, and one that marks another exciting step into the world of immersive sports presentations for fans.” Cosm’s first two public venues, set to open in 2024 in Los Angeles at Hollywood Park and Dallas at Grandscape, promise to deliver state-of-the-art visuals and featured elevated food and beverage service "to make guests feel like they are sitting front row, courtside, or rink-side at live events taking place across the world," according to Cosm. In July 2023, Cosm and UFC debuted the first-ever UFC fight in “Shared Reality” during an exclusive media showcase at the Cosm Experience Center in Salt Lake City ahead of UFC 291. CLICK HERE to check it out. In January, Cosm inked a deal with NBC Sports for Premier League (EPL) soccer, Big Ten and Notre Dame college football, and premium horse racing events. The deal follows an agreement with TNT Sports for NBA regular season and playoff games, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and select U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Team matches. Cosm also has agreements in place with the NBA and UFC to produce and present live events. Details of the schedule of events upon the opening of Cosm’s venues will be shared at a later date.
