Ruairi Mooney's exhibit and sale of work will be held at Portrush Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, April 5-7. It is Ruairi's first event of the year, following on from his hugely popular shows in 2022 and 2023. It will showcase paintings inspired by the beauty of the artist’s local hometown. Lionel Messi painting It will also feature portraits of some iconic figures to have graced the world of art, literature and politics. Ruairi said: "I am thrilled to share my latest portfolio of work taking inspiration from the North Coast and its scenery. There will be a large variety of work on display from contemporary landscape pieces to highly detailed portraits. "Studies of the North Coast, Giant’s Causeway and the Mournes feature in this new collection, as well as portraits of some of our most iconic figures, such as Seamus Heaney and John Hume." A selection of Ruairi's limited edition prints will be on display and will be available for sale. There will be a large variety of work on display including Limited Edition prints of some contemporary landscape studies of the North Coast, Derry city and the Mournes. “I am delighted with this new collection of art and I can’t wait to share it publicly. This exhibition has some of my most exciting work yet and shows my development as an artist," he added.
