Two people have died after a
British man fell from the seventh story of a Marbella hotel, according to local reports.
The unnamed British tourist, identified as being around 50 years old by reporters close to the scene, is believed to have plummeted from a balcony, striking a second man – reported to be a local – as he landed.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been fully explained.
ABCandalucía said the incident took place shortly before 2am on Sunday morning at the five-star Gran Melia Don Pepe hotel, with emergency services pronouncing the two men dead at the scene of the incident.

UK, adding: “We are supporting the family of a British man following his death in
Spain and are in touch with the local police.”
The Metro reported a statement from the National
police in Malaga, which is investigating the incident. A spokesperson said: “I can confirm two men have died at a hotel in Marbella after one plunged from the seventh-floor and landed on top of another.
