Duane “
Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman was hospitalized in Colorado over the weekend after experiencing chest pains, according to TMZ.
The health scare comes just three months after his wife,
Beth Chapman, died of cancer.

“I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably,” a rep for Duane told Page Six. “Thank you for all of your well wishes — keep ’em coming.”
Unnamed sources told TMZ that the reality star may have suffered a heart attack, and doctors are still figuring out whether he will need surgery.
Duane, 66, visited Page Six in August to discuss how he was dealing with the loss of his wife. He revealed he’s struggled with eating while grieving, but shared that his weight loss may have actually improved his health.
“I’m a little faster now because weight slows you down,” he told us. “I want to maintain this weight, maybe a little bit more, but it’s helped my health. I can feel it.”
Beth passed away on June 26 at age 51 after battling throat cancer for nearly two years.
Duane tweeted that morning, “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” ran on A&E from 2004 to 2012 and followed the lives of famed bounty hunter Duane and Beth, who was in the bail bond business for more than 30 years, and their family. He currently stars on WGN Network’s “Dog’s Most Wanted.”
