Toy Story 4 has just released a very brief new clip showing the first-look at the return of a legacy character.
Following previous reports suggesting Bo Peep would play a central role in the story of the fourth movie, she can now be seen bursting into shot in a short new 12-second teaser. The clip was revealed via the movie’s official social media feeds today. Scroll down to view.
Bo Peep did not play a part in Toy Story 3, but was voiced by Annie Potts in the first two movies.
It was revealed back in August 2015 that Bo would be central in the new film - with Woody and Buzz thought to be searching for her.
However with changes to the writing team having been made since the movie was first announced, it remains to be seen how she will be integrated into the story.
What is confirmed is that Potts is back providing her voice.
The new movie is believed to have an incredibly emotional ending - sparking fears that a certain iconic central character could be killed off.
Speaking about his last day at work, Tom Hanks - who voices Woody - said: "It was the first time that we were going to be recording the end of the movie, and Toy Story [4] is going to have an impactful ending.
"The way you record Toy Story, you're in a room with the team that has created it.
“When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you're facing him so he can look right up and you can talk about it.
"But I didn't want to see them and pretend they couldn't see me.”
He added: “When I realised what they were going for, I realised, 'Oh, this is a moment in history'."
Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Blake Clark, Wallace Shawn, Estelle Harris, Jodi Benson and Michael Keaton are also aboard.
Toy Story 4 is out in June.
