Disney opted to creatively overhaul the project with the plan being to use some footage of what was already shot along with new footage to be filmed alongside all new episodes. Social Media posting from stunt coordinator Philip J. Silvera, according to , seems to confirm something that makes more sense – turns out the wrap is for only for the first half of the series. From the sounds of it, Disney will be splitting the season into two separate blocks of, presumably, nine episodes each to match the original eighteen-episode series order. Whereas the first block will have to deal with being a bit of a mish-mash of both footage from the now abandoned original version of the revival, along with tying up loose ends from the original
Netflix series, the second block will essentially allow the Mouse House to take the show into whatever direction it wants.
