Kerry Katona has landed a last-minute lucrative role as she took over a TV star. The former Atomic Kitten
Singer, 43, is due to take over from Louie Spence, who has been forced to step away for "personal reasons". She is no stranger to starring on stage, having worked alongside daughter Lilly-Sue in a
SNOW White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime last year. Kerry will now take on a role in a Robin Hood production following Louie's departure. Anton Benson Productions confirmed reality TV icon Louie was no longer able to take part, with Kerry taking over. They said: "Due to personal reasons, Louie Spence has withdrawn from the production of Robin Hood. "We are delighted to announce that the role of Sheriff of Nottingham will now be shared between our
Friends KERRY KATONA and DIVINA DE CAMPO who have kindly agreed to step in last minute." The company added: "‘Kerry will play the role in Redditch, Northampton, Ellesmere Port and Mansfield. Divina will play the role in Clacton, Grimsby and Doncaster. We are sure you will join us in giving them a warm welcome to the cast of Robin Hood." Fans were thrilled Kerry was joining the production as one said: "Kerry was wonderful last night! To step in at short notice with no rehersal time is not for the faint hearted! We was entertaining, witty and down right hilarious. X x." Another added: "Gutted that Louie has withdrawn but really hope he is ok, have seen Kerry Katona perform before and she is amazing. Can't wait to see the show on Thursday evening in Northampton xx." Someone else praised: "Well done kerry .. you clearly have a heart of gold." He was the funniest panto villain I've ever seen. So brilliant. Good that you've got such great people to step in though." Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie hasn't publicly shared a statement, however he posted a snap of a large bouquet of red roses from his bed as he marked his 55th birthday. Earlier this month Kerry shared her fears at becoming a "burden" on her fiancé Ryan Mahoney . She explained she has anxiety battles so bad she feels as though she can't breathe and spiral to the point she believes she will die. "I've always suffered from anxiety, but over the past couple of weeks it's been really bad," she told New magazine. "I don't know what has triggered it. I kept trying to ignore it, but then on Mother's Day night it came to a head and I just broke down in tears. My throat was closing up and I felt like I couldn't breathe. The anxiety has stayed with me ever since." Kerry said her partner is being as supportive as he can be but she feels she is becoming a 'burden' to him. "I feel like all I'm doing is crying and saying that I don't know what's wrong with me," she admitted. The TV star said Ryan has been "brilliant" but she "likes to deal with things on her own".
