Curiously, today’s Wordle has the same structure as yesterday’s, with just one vowel—an ‘I’ again—in between two pairs of consonants. None of those letters are the same, however. I’m not sure why I guessed pithy. Twas just a pithy little thought that came into my brain. Turns out, it was a decent guess but not a great one: 103 words remained. From here, I almost guessed chair but noticed the ‘H’ in my first guess and then came up with fruit, having just bought some at the store. This was more like it. From here, I honestly could only think of wrist, but later learned from the Bot that grist was also an option. That would have been a surprise! But wrist was the answer and I nabbed this one in three. Huzzah! Competitive Wordle Score I get 1 point for guessing in three and 1 point for beating the Wordle Bot, who took four tries today to get the answer. 2 points x2 for 2XP Friday = 4 points. Huzzah again! How To Play Competitive Wordle Guessing in 1 is worth 3 points; guessing in 2 is worth 2 points; guessing in 3 is worth 1 point; guessing in 4 is worth 0 points; guessing in 5 is -1 points; guessing in 6 is -2 points and missing the Wordle is -3 points. If you beat your opponent you get 1 point. If you tie, you get 0 points. And if you lose to your opponent, you get -1 point. Add it up to get your score. Keep a daily running score or just play for a new score each day.
