Scotland are hopeful that Andy Robertson has avoided serious injury. The Scotland captain was forced off in the first half of his nations' abject 1-0 friendly defeat to Northern
Ireland on Wednesday. Robertson went down with an ankle injury, but played on after seeming to recover thanks to treatment. But the pain proved too much for the Reds full back and he limped off to compound a miserable night for Steve Clarke. The sight caused understandable worry amongst the Tartan Army and Liverpool fans, who have already had to do without the former Dundee United and Hull defender this season. He missed several months earlier in the campaign and with a title race firmly on in Jurgen Klopp's final fling, the Anfield club are optimistic that Robertson's season isn't over.
