Champions League final months later. The Merseyside club are in no rush to sell, with the South
American under contract until 2027, but his father remains alert to the possibility of interest from Spain. Diaz, who missed a chunk of last season through injury, has played his part this term as Jurgen Klopp looks to add more trophies in his final season in charge. He has stepped up with Diogo Jota and
Mohamed Salah both missing matches, though the latter is now back in action. In 39 matches this season, Diaz has scored 11 goals and added a further five assists. Real Madrid or Atlético [in 2022]," Mane Diaz told Cadena Ser (via The Sun ). "Liverpool were always more determined and concrete to sign Luis. "We haven’t lost our hope yet…" he added. "Luis is playing well and Spanish clubs are always active in the market."
