Lorraine Kelly was branded a ‘true ally’ after after marrying a gay couple live on TV. The ITV presenter, 64 , officiated the wedding between couple Luke and Gavin, wearing a rainbow-coloured jacket in a nod to the LGBT community, on today’s show. Luke and Gavin both became teary as they read out their vows in the ceremony to mark a decade since the first same-sex couples married in
England and Wales after it was legalised in 2013 . The beautiful occasion was rounded off by iconic popstar Anastacia, 55, sending the newly-weds a congratulatory video message and West End superstar Alfie Boe, 50, performing power ballad I Want to Know What Love Is by Foreigner. Viewers were overwhelmed by all the feels on X and raised a glass to Luke and Gavin.
