Christina Applegate has revealed that she has 30 lesions on her brain amid her battle with multiple sclerosis. The
Hollywood star opened up about her condition as she appeared on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast this week, admitting that her crushing diagnosis has been life-altering. Christina, 52, told Dax: "I have 30 lesions on my brain. My biggest one is behind my right eye, so my right eye hurts a lot." She then called her condition the "worst thing that’s happened" in her "entire life," after she was diagnosed back in 2021. The Dead To Me star admitted that while her vision hasn't been affected yet, she is suffering other neurological symptoms from the lesions. Christina also admitted feeling that she is the "worst MS-er" because when she is struggling with pain she chooses to go back to bed rather than stretching her muscles. Christina also compared her MS to a "mean girl" who "pushes back" if she overexerts herself. She said: "It sucks, I hate it so much. I’m so mad about it. You can’t overcome it."
