Moscow terror attack has spoken of the sickening moment
ISIS gunmen opened
fire at Crocus City Hall – and clueless onlookers thought the noise was a fireworks display. 'Space baby' Yevgenia Ryumina, who is the daughter of two famous cosmonauts, had been declared dead after the Moscow massacre at Crocus City Hall. But the 38-year-old has now spoken out saying she was at the concert venue and ended up caught in one of the most harrowing episodes when the gunmen fired at a group huddled in fear in a corner of the building. She was put on the list of dead after losing her ID documents which fell from her bag in the mayhem. Yevgenia, who miraculously emerged unscathed from the nightmare, told local media: "I was among those people who were shot in the corner in that very terrible video. I dropped my passport and car documents when I was fleeing. I was just lucky. At first people thought it was some kind of fireworks or a joke. Everyone ran. They [the terrorists] came up and shot people. When I opened my eyes, I saw three people with machine guns. They silently killed people. They were coming at us.” An unknown man helped her from the pile of bodies to flee from the concert hall in which 137 died, but she could not reach the busy hotline to get her name removed from the list of the dead. Yevgenia is the daughter of cosmonauts Valery Ryumin and Elena Kondakova. Dad Ryumin made four space flights and logged a total of 371 days in space. He was a two-time 'Hero of the USSR'. Mum Kondakova was the third woman cosmonaut in space and the first to make a long stay in orbit, spending five months on the Mir Space Station in 1994-95.
