Jimmie Allen has confirmed that he is now the father of six children - and that two of the children were conceived with another woman. The country
music star took to his to confirm that he had added twin to his family prior to him reconciling with his wife Alexis Gale. Posting pictures of his children on the
Social Media app he wrote: "I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs." Jimmie and Alex welcomed their first two children Naomi, four, and Zara, two, before their marriage fell apart. He was already dad to Aadyn, 9, from a past relationship back in 2015. He then also posted photos of the nine-month-old twins, Aria and Amari, who he fathered with a mystery woman. The final child included in the post was his youngest and third with Alexis, their five-month-old baby Cohen Ace James. Jimmie and Alexis got married back in 2021 after two years dating. The couple however then split in April 2023 when Alexis was with their new addition. At the time Jimmie told Us Weekly in a statement: "After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.” The statement continued: "Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to coparenting with love and respect for one another. In light [of] our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.” The couple then filed for divorce within two hours of one another. Jimmie had requested joint custody of their children, while Alexis wanted to be made primary residential parent by the court. Just one month on from the filing, Jimmie's former manager filed a lawsuit to sue him for assault and
Sexual Harassment. Jimmie admitted that he and the unnamed worker had been partaking in a consensual "sexual relationship" while he was married to Alexis and denied the claims. The lawsuit was later dropped. In May 2023 Jimmie publicly apologised to Alexis for his infidelity. He wrote: "I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all." An attorney for the plaintiff later gave a statement to PEOPLE after the lawsuit was dropped which read: "The lawsuit against Allen was never about financial gain for my client, but instead holding Allen accountable. Unfortunately, civil litigation has few ways to punish wrongdoers; we could not ask the court to jail him, for example, or force him to change his behavior. One of the few remedies we do have in civil litigation is to ask the court to punish through monetary damages, which we did." Alexis welcomed Cohen in September 2023 and a representative for Jimmie confirmed one month later that they were giving their marriage another try. They said: "They decided to work on things together and are still together,” and noted that the divorce "was never fully seen through legally."
