has added fellow
Rapper to his list of enemies after she snubbed a feature on his new album. The rapper took to his
Instagram page to slam the chart star after she allegedly recorded a verse for one of his songs only to then withdraw from the feature. Kanye, 46, uploaded a text post to his stories on the
Social Media app as ranted about the decision. He wrote: "ICE SPICE SENT A VERSE IN FOR NEW BODY NOW HER TEAM IS SAYING WE CAN'T USE IT." Neither Ice - real name
ISIS Naija Gaston - or her team have issued any response to the claim as of yet. New Body has already seen drop out of a feature on Vultures, after she worked with Ye on previous album Yandhi in 2018 before the release was scrapped, meaning it never came out. Nicki was initially included on the track listing for the album which has seen Kanye collaborate with Ty Dolla $ign. Back in 2020, Nicki wanted the track released after a version was leaked on TikTok gaining popularity with users. However it never happened and she has since declared that the two artists have grown apart creatively. with her fans which was sent just hours before the rumoured release date of his new album. She then shot down his hopes of gaining her approval for including the track they previously collaborated on a few years ago on his release. She said on an Instagram live: "Now regarding Kanye, chile, that train has left the station." Nicki then cited her busy schedule around the release of her album Pink Friday 2 as a reason why she didn't have time to work with Kanye or put the song out for their fans so many years on from recording it originally. She added: "Okay, no disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand-new album. Now, why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys.” Kanye called Nicki out for her snub when he posted the screenshot of the text message he had sent to her on X. He wrote to Nicki: "Hey it's Ye. May I call you about clearing New Body on the new album." Nicki had notably not replied to his message.
