Parents are being warned to check their children's toyboxes after twins climbed into a box late at night, and suffocated before they could be found. Aurora and Kellan were found dead in their toybox in the morning after climbing in to play. Their father, Don Starr, had taken them to bed on August 25 while their mother, Sadie Myers, was at work on an overnight shift, reports The Mirror. He had placed them in their bed, but in the middle of the night, they had gotten up to play or to sleep with their stuffed animals, which they stored in the box. The lid of the box closed on the four-year-olds and they were found tragically the next morning by their older brother after a frantic, family-wide search for the children. Aurora and Kellan, or 'Kell Kell' and 'Sissy,' as they were affectionately known, were found holding each other in the box by their older brother, Axton, who called out: "Mummy, I found them! Facebook shortly after and wrote: "Not many will know the pain of losing two children at the same time and losing them in a way that makes no sense..." She said she was unaware that the toy box, which was made of cedar wood, was airtight and soundproof, and urged her followers to be cautious about their children's toyboxes and destroy any that aren't safe. Tragedy can strike when parents least expect it, and it's best to be prepared so as to mitigate it before it happens. Sadie's sister Deanna Myers has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the family. She said: "My goal is to raise money for my sister, Sadie, her husband, Donn, and their family while they live through the most horrific and painful thing any parent or sibling could be forced to endure." She added: "This accident was one of those absolutely inconceivable things you can’t imagine or plan for or believe was even possible. Please help me support my heartbroken sister and brother-in-law while they figure out a way to heal from their indescribable pain." Deanna said: "Please help me raise whatever it takes for these two amazing parents and their two remaining children to be able to grieve together without worrying about going back to work right away or stressing about coming up with money to pay bills or final expenses, please."
