Bruno Fernandes is a doubt for Manchester United's
Premier League trip to
Tottenham on Thursday night. Fernandes sustained an injury to his right ankle in the first half of the FA Cup semi-final with Brighton but played out the full 90 minutes before withdrawing ahead of extra time. Fernandes was pictured at home with his ankle in a support brace and propped up on cushions, with crutches and a protective boot also visible. The Portuguese was spotted at United's Carrington training complex walking without crutches and a protective boot but Erik ten Hag admits Fernandes is a "question mark". "There are some unavailable - Martinez, Varane," Ten Hag said. "We have to see how Bruno Fernandes is, we don't know yet. Is a question mark. But I think for the rest, we are quite okay. "It's more often that players, we protect them, prevention but it has to settle down. We have seen he played a full game and it happened in the first half. But tomorrow is quick, we have to see what is possible." Fernandes has never missed a United match through injury. He was unwell when United beat Tottenham 3-2 last year.
