Job A new royal book written by Robert Jobson titled 'Our King', chronicles the deteriorating relationship between Harry and other senior royals. It revealed a growing rift between Harry and William, the animosity of which reportedly shocked Charles. But it also highlighted a shocking story of one particular incident, which left the
Duke of Sussex furious, the Mail reported, as they revealed extracts of the new book. The incident took place during a meeting between the royal princes, and Charles, in the run-up to Harry and Meghan’s wedding. Harry had been intending to reveal to his father his intention to wed Meghan - but William had already broke the news. Then, after Harry told Charles himself, his older brother spoke first again, reportedly saying “Are you sure, Harold?”. But what followed was a “bombshell”, where Charles told his youngest that he “couldn’t afford to pay for Meghan in the future” alongside Camilla, William and Catherine, and their young family. This reportedly “infuriated” Harry. Making matters worse, the blow to the prince came during worsening relations internally and growing perceived slights to Harry. Mr Jobson then revealed that Harry already thought William disapproved of his bride-to-be, and who was concerned it had become a “whirlwind affair”, the book claimed.
