England journey has not been smooth sailing.
A run to the semi-finals of the 2017 Euros was sandwiched between
World Cup heartbreak, with injury restricting her to one match at the 2015 tournament in
Canada and an anterior cruciate ligament rupture killing dreams of competing at the 2019 edition in
France. Since then the pandemic and niggling injuries have stunted her international progress.
