United boss Ten Hag admitted after a pulsating 2-2 draw that he was unsure as to the exact nature and severity of Rashford’s issue, but was still confident that he would avoid a lengthy spell in the treatment room. "I'm not sure, but I don't think it will be long-term,” the Dutchman said when quizzed on Rashford’s injury by MUTV. It remains to be seen if Rashford is in any danger of missing United’s return to Wembley on April 21 for an FA Cup semi-final showdown with Championship play-off chasers Coventry City. The Red Devils travel to Bournemouth in the Premier League next weekend and also face relegation-battling duo Sheffield United and Burnley during a busy month, closing out the season with matches against Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton in May. Ten Hag can ill afford more injury woe as he battles to prove to new part-owners Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe that he should remain in charge beyond the end of the season, with United currently experiencing something of a fitness crisis at the back.
