What’s more, their reunion also marked the first time that the mother, a woman called Jane from Birkenhead, had ever met her grandchild. Hand us the tissues! During last night’s episode of the ITV show, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly selected Jane from the audience to take part in their segment called Spot The Difference. The aim of the game is simple – for the participant to spot what’s changed in a scene that’s presented to them in order to win money. Jane was initially shocked to find Capital radio presenter Jordan North sitting in her living room wearing a pink dressing gown. The live feed was temporarily stopped so that changes could be made to the room before resuming, with someone else sitting in Jordan’s place and wearing a mask of his face Then, the real surprise was revealed – that person was in fact Jane’s daughter Holly, who has been living in Australia for five years. At first, it was claimed that Holly was literally sitting in her mother’s living room in Birkenhead, prompting a sobbing Jane to say that she couldn’t wait to get home to see her daughter. However, then yet another surprise was unveiled… as it turned out that Saturday Night Takeaway had actually recreated Jane’s living room in the studio. As the doors opened on stage, Holly emerged alongside her partner Lewis and their baby daughter, who Jane had never met before. Tonight Show,’ said Sean. ‘God, I was crying my flipping eyes out😢😢. This was such an amazing thing to do,’ added Julie on X. ‘This was amazing, I was bawling! 😭,’ Hannah also said. Next week will mark the final episode of the ITV show, after Ant and Dec announced that it would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
