Trump posts multiple photos of hush money judges daughter amid gag order debate
Donald Trump on Saturday put on display multiple photos of the daughter of the judge in his hush money criminal case, even as the prosecution argues that targeting her could violate an established gag order in the case over purported payments to an adult film star. Trump, who was previously put on the spot for his attacks on Judge Merchan's daughter, including posting her name publicly, has been accused of intentionally stirring up violence against the jurist's adult daughter. Merchan's daughter works in an industry that services politicians, including prominent Democrats. His earlier attacks prompted a debate in court filings over what the gag order covers, but he signaled Saturday he's not relenting in his fight against Merchan's daughter. Judge Merchan should be immediately sanctioned and recused, and this fake 'case,' only kept alive by the Highly Conflicted Judge, should be completely dismissed right away - THERE IS NO CASE, THERE IS NO CRIME," Trump said Saturday. "Andy McCarthy, Jonathan Turley, and all Legal Experts and Scholars universally agree that this is a case that should have never been brought. IT IS A POLITICAL, ELECTION-INTERFERING WITCH HUNT, JUST LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER HOAXES, HEADED UP AND COORDINATED BY THE DOJ, AGAINST THE POLITICAL OPPONENT OF CROOKED Joe Biden IN ORDER TO HELP GET THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE United States RE-ELECTED!" Trump's Truth Social post also included a link to an article , entitled Dem clients of daughter of NY judge in Trump hush money trial raised $93M off the case , which includes multiple photos of Merchan's daughter. When Trump posted the article to his Social Media platform, which recently went public, two photos of the judge's daughter were prominently displayed on the former president's profile. Former federal prosecutor Joyce Vance saw the post and said, "You can't have a legal system with integrity & the ability to counteract you if you're a wannabe dictator." "That's why Trump is trying to delegitimize [our] institutions," she added. Donald Trump on Saturday claimed that Joe Biden's White House banned religious-themed egg designs from its Easter celebration, but that policy extended even into Trump's term, according to some insiders. Trump and other MAGA-worlders melted down over the alleged change, represented by a White House invitation for children from families of the National Guard to submit artwork to appear on the traditional holiday event, and also to ensure eggs kindly refrain from using religious symbols of any kind. White House Deputy Assistant to the President Elizabeth Alexander poured cold water on the claim. ALSO READ: 11 ways Trump doesn’t become president "*Fyi on all the misleading swirl re White House and Easter: the American Egg Board flyer’s standard non-discrimination language requesting artwork has been used for the last 45 years, across all Dem & Republican Admins—for all WH Easter Egg Rolls —incl previous Administration’s," she reported on Saturday. Jon Favreau, speechwriter to former President Barack Obama and co-host of the "Pod Save America" podcast, also noticed the implications for the ex-president. "Also: looks like MAGA God Donald Trump 'banned religious-themed egg designs' from the WH contest too, as has every WH for the last 45 years," Favreau wrote. White House Deputy Communications Director Herbie Ziskend also drew attention to the statement pointing fingers back at Trump, as did Jesse Lee, a former economic communications official for Biden and a senior advisor to Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "For anybody on the fence about buying a Trump Bible to fund his porn star hush money defense, he's lying about Easter now too so maybe don't," Lee wrote Saturday. Rubio, who vehemently opposed Trump when he ran against him in the 2016 GOP primary, has since been a dedicated loyalist for Trump. Recently, reports suggested that Rubio was among those Trump is rumored to be considering for his second-in-command. Enter Dr. Jack Brown, an expert who recently analyzed the now-infamous State of the Union response by Sen. Katie Britt, an Alabama Republican. ALSO READ: ‘It’s on my ID’: Presidential candidate Literally Anybody Else explains legal name change "Last Sunday, Sen. Marco Rubio was interviewed by Jonathan Karl on ABC's 'This Week'. What follows is a body language analysis of a short but crucial portion of their exchange," Brown wrote. "Jonathan Karl reiterated what Rubio had said earlier in the week, 'You said it would be an honor to be offered a spot on Trump's ticket. Really?' Rubio answered, 'Yeah' and proceeded to give a lengthier explanation." Rubio then says, "That's a decision that he's going to make. He has plenty of really good people to pick from." That stood out for Brown. "Just after Rubio says, '...to pick from', Rubio displays an excellent example of what is known as a 'microexpression'. There are many varieties of microexpressions (for many different thought-emotions) – and this particular one indicated contempt," according to Brown's analysis on Saturday. "This microexpression is centered on the region of the right corner of his mouth (his right, not ours), jaw, and (less pronounced) right 'mustache area', and lateral to his right nostril." His right nostril, according to Brown, "is also flared and his right eye (eyelids) are momentarily slightly closed." "It's helpful to think of a microexpression of contempt as an evanescent, unilateral snarl," the expert added. "Note that although Rubio is complementary with his words toward Trump's other possible VP picks – however the Senator's body language says the polar opposite." Trump, who has long been accused of narcissism that equates to blasphemy for some Christians, on Saturday posted an article to his Truth Social platform that makes the religious comparison. Truth Social is the ex-president's social media company, which recently went public but is expected by some experts to tank. The article that Trump shared is titled, "The Crucifixion of Donald Trump." ALSO READ: ‘It’s on my ID’: Presidential candidate Literally Anybody Else explains legal name change "One of the basic tenets of the law is determining who the victim is. There quite literally doesn’t appear to be one in the New York case, but the judge rendered a guilty verdict anyway. The judge determined a penalty in the staggering amount of $455 million. With interest, Trump was told he had to pay $464 million within 30 days, regardless of whether he intended to appeal. If he failed to secure payment or a bond to guarantee the amount, New York would seize Trump-owned properties," according to the article published on March 28. "Much like Pilate tried to placate the mob by merely beating Jesus nearly to death, the judge 'relented' by lowering the bond required to a paltry $175 million and gave Trump an additional 10 days to secure it." Conservative Army Iraq War Veteran Peter Henlein flagged the share by the ex-president. "Trump just shared an article comparing his plight to that of Jesus," Henlein wrote before quoting the name of the piece. "That's insane." Henlein goes on to suggest that Christians shouldn't vote for Trump over President Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election later this year. "But please, go on about how Christians must vote for this guy," he wrote on Saturday. CONTINUE READING Show less
