Saturday Night Takeaway is coming to an end with an epic grand final (Picture: Kieron McCarron/ITV/REX/Shutterstock) Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway plans for the grand final have been revealed, featuring a whole host of celebrity guests. Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will wrap up their 20th series of the hit show with an extended two-hour live show. The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! presenters have helmed the ITV variety show since 2002, but last year announced the upcoming 20th season would be their ‘last one for a little while’. At the time they said the show ‘takes up such a lot of our year’ and they needed a ‘little bit of a breather’. And they’re truly ending things (for now) with a bang, having already revealed they will not only be bringing back some show favourites from over the years but introducing a new one-off segment – Get Out of Me Ear: The Revenge. Girl band Girls Aloud will be the star guest announcers while pop group S Club, rockers Kaiser Chiefs and TV star Scarlett Moffatt are among the famous faces set to make an appearance during the grand finale on April 13. The show will also feature the final part of Get Out Of Me Ear: The Revenge with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby taking part in the segment in a bid to get their own back on the Geordie presenting duo. The duo are taking a break after this 20th series (Picture: Kieron McCarron/ITV/Shutterstock) Meanwhile, Rylan Clark, Oti Mabuse, Olly Murs, Davina McCall, Gino D’Acampo, Craig David, Richard Madeley and Cheryl will also appear in the Get Out Of Me Ear: The Revenge segment, to ensure the presenters get their comeuppance after years of pranking their guests. And as if that wasn’t enough, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, TV presenter Andi Peters, radio host Jordan North and
Singer Tony Hadley will also feature on the show. The finale will see either Ant or Dec, both 48, crowned the winner of their weekly trials as well as a ‘super-sized singalong’ and games with the studio and home audience. We will most certainly miss it.’ Ant said he could not believe it was nearing the end but that he was looking forward to making the last show ‘a party to end all parties’.
