Celine Dion is taking in a hockey game! On Thursday, the 55-year-old stepped out to watch the Boston Bruins take on the
New York Rangers at TD Garden alongside her 13-year-old twin sons, Nelson and Eddy. She also shares René-Charles, 23, with her late husband, René Angélil. Ahead of the game, Dion and her boys visited the Bruins locker room so the
Singer could read off the starting lineup to the players. During the moment, which was posted by the Bruins on X, Dion poked fun at one player over his state of undress, sang the names of several athletes, and made jokes about some names as she announced them. "Now, THAT'S a legendary lineup read," the team wrote alongside the video. Once the game got underway, Dion was shown on the jumbotron. She smiled, laughed and waved as the crowd cheered her on. She then took a break from cheering on the Bruins to jam out to Bon Jovi, as one clip showed the singer playing air guitar while Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" played throughout the arena. Despite Dion's support, the Rangers bested the Bruins 5 to 2. This isn't the first time Dion has enjoyed a hockey game. Back in November, Dion and her three sons watched the Vegas Golden Knights best the Montreal Canadiens 3 to 2 in
Las Vegas. Afterwards, the family visited the Canadiens locker room, which was a "memorable" experience, Dion wrote on
Instagram. Then, in February, Dion met with the Edmonton Oilers ahead of their game against the Golden Knights, which the latter team won 3 to 1. The following month, the team posted about Dion's hilarious visit on Instagram. Dion's recent outings come after her December 2022 announcement that she's been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome , a rare and incurable neurological disease. Five months later, Dion canceled her tour. In February, Dion made a surprise appearance at the
Grammys. The following month, Dion spoke out about International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day, vowing to one day get back to performing. "Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible," she wrote on Instagram. "I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you! I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS.
