Celebrity Big Brother fans have spotted another feud in the closing days of the 2024 contest. Over the past three weeks, a collection of 12 stars has been whittled down to five as the least favourite celebrities have been voted out of the house by the public each week. Friends throughout the run of the contest, viewers were sure they could see tensions erupt between them as the final countdown began. Former X Factor judge Louis bitterly lashed out at Fern while speaking to Big Brother in the diary room - saying she wouldn’t be missed if she was voted out of the house. At the time, Fern stood to leave in the public vote alongside David and fellow housemates Marisha Wallace, 38, and Zeze Millz, 34. Viewers were stunned by Louis's outburst and flooded X with comments. One fan wrote: "Louis Walsh has about 136 different opinions on Fern Britton , it's quite remarkable - 'she's great, but boring, fantastic but she won't be missed if she left the house before the final'. Can't keep up! #CBBUK." Another typed: "Fully here for Louis bitching about Fern in the diary room at every given opportunity." And a further fan wrote: "Louis could talk about a few other housemates tho instead of always going on about Fern being old and boring. #CBBUK." The diary room outburst could be a case of sour grapes for Louis, however, as he discovered Fern had attempted to have him evicted in an earlier challenge. She was tasked with placing a snake in the bed of a housemate she wanted to see immediately removed from the house. She settled on Louis as she said she enjoyed his company but had grown weary of him reporting himself. Unbeknown to Fern, however, Big Brother had not been completely honest - as Louis was awarded immunity instead of his marching orders in a St Patrick’s Day twist. The talent show judge was unimpressed, however, and complained to the house that there was someone within who had tried to have him kicked out. Wracked with guilt, Fern eventually came clean that she was the one to leave the snake in his bed. He admitted that he had not expected her to be the culprit - but branded her “conniving” and “an actress” in a blistering outburst during an earlier diary room confession. During his time in the house, Louis has unleashed on a huge number of fellow celebrities. He sparked outrage when he branded Jedward brothers John and Edward Grimes "vile" - provoking a furious response from the twins who were backed by a range of other celebs including Gemma Collins .
