Love Island winner, 29, has sparked immense backlash for her comments on the reality programme, which has also seen former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh . In chats with her new pals, Ekin-Su was outraged at the thought of being an OnlyFans model and claimed to not post any bikini pictures, which fans were quick to expose her on. She also shut down any conversations about Love Island – despite mentioning the reality programme where she found fame multiple times herself – and was bizarrely hostile to her co-stars, turning her loyal fandom away, it appears. So much so in fact, that the likes of Layton Williams and Katie Price have called her out, with the former clashing with her and making his thoughts heard loud and clear during an appearance on Late and Live on Friday. Ekin-Su became the latest celebrity to be evicted from the house, alongside Levi Roots, and after witnessing some of the backlash she’s facing, was keen to claim the show has been edited to make her look a certain way. Much to the applause of the live audience, Layton called out Ekin-Su’s reaction to fellow housemate Marisha Wallace nominating her for eviction, after many fans claimed she was faking her tears. ‘You haven’t seen everything, they’ve cut stuff out,’ Ekin-Su insisted, as Layton hit back: ‘We’re not going to blame it on the edit!’ Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best were also quick to point out that Ekin-Su had just left the house herself, and so hadn’t yet watched anything back or knew what had made it to screens, as well as noting that everything shown had come from Ekin-Su’s own mouth. ‘I’m just hurt that I wasn’t portrayed as myself on the show,’ Ekin-Su repeated. After Will asked the audience ‘Who was on Ekin’s side?’ and wasn’t able to find any volunteers, he turned to her mum, who said: ‘When Sharon was leaving she nominated three names, but she said two names and then one more has been cut out, why?’ But Ekin-Su and the hosts all jumped in to clarify that it wasn’t edited in fact, and Sharon did only ever say two names. ‘Leave it!’ Ekin-Su snapped at her mum, as viewers have dubbed the scene ’embarrassing’. ‘Okay. If you thought Ekin-Su damaged her reputation in 2 weeks of Big Brother, she’s just done as much damage in ten minutes of Late and Live. And her MUM?
