Tess Daly has discussed the aspects of life in lockdown she’s finding the most difficult in a candid
Instagram post.
The
Strictly Come Dancing presenter is currently on lockdown with her husband, fellow TV star Vernon Kay, and their two daughters.
Alongside a selfie she posted on Friday, Tess spoke about how she’s found the last 12 weeks, and while she said she’s remaining optimistic, there are certain aspects she’s still “struggling with”.“Good morning beautiful people,” she wrote. “Just checking in saying hi & wondering how it’s already Friday? Is it just me or does time seem to fly by even MORE quickly when you’ve got so much more of it on your hands?!
“Still struggling a bit with the disconnection from my usual routines and the unpredictability of everything at the moment; but have also been focusing on using the time productively and positively (yoga, writing, cleansing the home, cleansing my mind with meditation, tutoring, den making, occasional kitchen dancing...) and keeping the faith that brighter days are hopefully just around the corner.” View this post on InstagramA post shared by Tess Daly (@tessdaly) on Jun 12, 2020 at 1:30am PDTShe added: “I feel like we have worked SO hard together to get through this. It’s expected that Tess and her usual co-host Claudia Winkleman will be returning to present the 18th series of Strictly later this year, although due to social distancing guidelines, it’s not clear exactly what form the show will take.
Tabloid reports have suggested a variety of new measures could be put in place – including removing the show’s studio audiences, and having one or more judges giving their critiques from home – but the
