SAMSUNG’S Galaxy S8 has been crowned the best the smartphone of 2017 at the yearly Pocket-lint awards and here’s all of the winners.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 has picked up yet another tech gong with it winning the EE Pocket-lint award for best smartphone of 2017.
This is the second major award Samsung has collected this year for its flagship smartphone and it’ll come as no surprise.
The S8 features a stunning curved design, incredible edge-to-edge screen and top-class cameras.
And with a host of recent price cuts, it’s now available at a relatively affordable price.
The Galaxy S8 was chosen by a panel of top technology experts and readers of the Pocket-lint website.
Other winners on the night included the Apple Watch Series 3, Sonos Playbase, Netflix and the brilliant Amazon Echo smart speaker which continues to impress despite being launched last year.
Nintendo also took home two awards for their Switch console which won Best Console and Product of the Year.
The gaming firm also took home a prize for its Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild title.
"The EE Pocket-lint Gadget Awards really showcase the best gadgets and tech devices from the last year," said Stuart Miles, founder of Pocket-lint.
