Calvin Harris has revealed that he had to have his heart restarted in hospital at the height of his fame.
The Superstar DJ casually mentioned his ordeal as he shared a clip of himself playing a gig in 2014 on
Twitter.
“Interesting year for me 2014,” he tweeted. “Started with me knocking myself off number 1 in the

The same year he was admitted to A&E, Calvin was forced to pull out of the
MTV Europe
music Awards in Glasgow after a heart scare, which he later confirmed was arrhythmia.It led to him giving up alcohol and following a healthier lifestyle, which he said has made a “noticeable difference” to his life.
“Things are a bit less fun but haven’t had an arrhythmia since 2014” he previously said.
