British singer-songwriter Marianne Faithfull has been hospitalised after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 73-year-old’s agent confirmed the news on Saturday night, revealing she was receiving treatment for Covid-19, the illness caused by the virus.
“Marianne Faithfull’s manager @Ravard_Rrancois has confirmed that Marianne is being treated for Covid-19 in hospital in
London,” a post shared on her press representative’s
Twitter account explained.

In addition to her
music career, Marianne has also enjoyed success as an actress, both on the stage and in films like Girl On A Motorcycle, I’ll Never Forgive What’s ’Isname and, more recently Marie Antoinette.
Marianne also played God in two episodes of the
