Donald Trump has warned that social upheaval caused by the coronavirus outbreak could last beyond August.The US president, who previously claimed the virus would soon disappear “like a miracle”, struck a less bombastic tone on Monday and sought to manage expectations when asked how long “the new normal” will be in place.“We’ll see what happens but they think August, could be July,” Trump told reporters at the White House, “Could be longer than that.”He added: “I’ve spoken actually with my son. He said: ‘How bad is this?’ It’s bad.
