The fallout continues from the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal as
Carlos Beltran is out as
New York Mets manager.

Beltran, a former Astros player, was named in commissioner Rob Manfred’s report as playing a key role in the scheme.
When the report was released on Monday, the Astros fired general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch.
The Red Sox followed suit on Tuesday by cutting ties with their manager Alex Cora, who had been the Astros bench coach in 2017 and was named in the report.
