Today’s fluff is waiting by the phone
It’s difficult to imagine Thomas Müller’s spindly legs careering in and around penalty areas crashing in goals for anyone other than Bayern Munich or
Germany, but at the Theatre of Dreams they’re imagining it nonetheless. Yep,
Manchester United are interested in bringing the 30-year-old striker to Old Trafford and the Sun reports he could be tempted to leave the club he has been at since the age of 10. Müller fell from favour under Niko Kovac and, though he is likely to get more game time under Hansi Flick, he is open to a move. With his contract expiring in June 2021, Bayern might be tempted to cash in.
Arsenal, meanwhile, could face a battle to keep Alexandre Lacazette as Atlético Madrid are reportedly making eyes at him as a fall-back, should their bid for
Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani fall through. By way of recompense, claims the Daily Mirror, Atléti may chuck Thomas Lemar Arsenal’s way, though the former Monaco player has also been linked with Tottenham. It’s all so confusing.
