To no one's surprise,
President Trump refused to keep quiet Tuesday after House
Democrats introduced articles of impeachment against him.Naturally, the president didn't take too kindly to the news, once again denouncing the the proceedings as a "witch hunt." House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) bore the brunt of Trump's criticism, which is hardly a shock.
House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) was also singled out for accusing Trump of pressuring
Ukraine to interfere in the the 2020. That's something, Trump said, Nadler knows "is not true."White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham also released an official statement in response to the news, arguing that the "two baseless articles of impeachment" only hurt the
American people, not the president. She added that Trump expects to be fully exonerated if impeachment heads to a
Senate trial.
