The mystery of whose Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker script ended up on eBay has officially been solved.John Boyega owned up Wednesday to being the actor whom director J.J. Abrams revealed earlier this week lost the film's script, with someone then finding it and trying to sell it on eBay."It was me," Boyega told Good Morning America, confirming what co-star Daisy Ridley implied on Tuesday. He went on to explain the full story of what happened: Evidently, he was moving apartments and accidentally left the script under his bed, leaving a cleaner who came in weeks later to find it and try to sell it on eBay. They must not have been aware of what a big deal coming across this screenplay was, though, as according to Boyega, they put it up for less than $100.Although the studio was able to get the script back before it was sold, Boyega told GMA it was a "scary" situation, especially considering he was on the receiving end of plenty of angry phone calls, as officials at
Disney presumably let the hate flow through them.
