Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli has returned to
YouTube for the first time since the college admissions scandal, in a brief video saying she wants to "move on with my life."Jade, a social media influencer with nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers, stopped uploading videos after her parents' arrest in March. Prosecutors say Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500,000 to have their two daughters designated as crew team recruits to get into the University of Southern
California, even though they didn't really participate in the sport. They have both pleaded not guilty. In a video titled "hi again," Jade says the scandal is "something that needs to be addressed" but tells viewers that she's "legally not allowed to speak" about it. "I want to move on with my life," she says, going to say she's "terrified" to return to YouTube but that she wants to "start taking smaller steps in the right direction." She concludes by teasing more uploads in the future and writing on screen, "I'll see you soon."This first upload in more than eight months amassed more than 1 million views, became the top trending video on YouTube, and was flooded with negative comments. In the aftermath of the college admissions scandal, several brands distanced themselves from Jade, with Sephora ending a partnership with her while citing "recent developments."
NBC News reports that as of October, she was no longer enrolled as a student at USC.
