A slew of depositions scheduled for this week as part of the House’s impeachment inquiry have been postponed as lawmakers mourn the late Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), according to an official working on the inquiry.

Democrats have gathered a fast-growing body of evidence as part of their impeachment investigation in recent weeks.
Cummings, who passed away last week, will lie in state in the Capitol on Thursday morning.
