Little Mix have reignited their old feud with Piers Morgan, after including footage of the breakfast TV presenter on their current tour.
Little Mix and Piers first fell out last year, when he criticised their decision to pose nude in the
music video for their song Strip.
While they said at the time that the imagery – which saw them naked with insulting words written all over their body – was their way of reclaiming what has been said about them online and in the press, Piers lambasted the move as “stripping off” and “using sex” to “sell albums”.On their new tour, Little Mix include footage of Piers slating them to introduce their song Wasabi, which he claimed on
Twitter had been done “without his permission”, suggesting he’d be sending them a “large invoice”.
The group quickly fired back: “Someone’s telling porkie pieeees. your bosses at GMB signed it off, including you...soz hun.
“Piers you gorgey hun, we know you’ve always been our number 1 fan… we’ve got a ticket at the
box office with your name on it.”Ignore me? They've literally made me centre stage at their concerts... without my permission, incidentally, so they'll be getting a large invoice. https://t.co/p60P7TqtS7— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 17, 2019Someone’s telling porkie pieeees 🤥 your bosses at GMB signed it off, including you...soz hun ✨ Piers you gorgey hun, we know you’ve always been our number 1 fan 🥰 we’ve got a ticket at the box office with your name on it ♥️ #comeandsayittomyfacehttps://t.co/t5EicOCY9m— Little Mix (@LittleMix) September 17, 2019On Wednesday, Piers addressed the matter on Good Morning Britain, saying: “First, I’m absolutely thrilled that Little Mix want to use me as the main selling point of their stage show. Thanks.
“Secondly, did you get permission from me in writing? Don’t think you did, so you owe me a massive cheque now, which is great.”HuffPost
UK has contacted reps for Good Morning
Britain for comment.
During this year’s Brit Awards, the group seemed suitably mortified when host Jack Whitehall brought up their feud with Piers in the middle of the show.
The following day, Piers hit back at them all, suggesting they’d “fat-shamed” him during their interview.
