American Bully advocates Zachary and Serina Williams aim to show a different side to one of America’s regulated dog breeds by sharing images and videos of their pets interacting with their children. The ironically-named Lieutenant Danger, an
American bully, can be seen snuggling up with two of the couple’s kids, baby Haven and little Kaylee, in their home in Vancouver, Washington.Serina Williams shared the video on
Facebook on September 3, writing, “Lieutenant Danger is making his way around the media showing what bully love is all about.”“Anytime, one of the kids are laying down, he is right there to love and snuggle them,” Zachary Williams told Storyful, adding that the reason for making this video was “to show people that this breed is the most loving and caring.”According to the ASPCA, the American bully are among dog breeds to which breed-specific legislation applies. The organization says such “laws that either regulate or ban certain dog breeds in an effort to decrease dog attacks on humans and other animals,” but say there is “no evidence that breed-specific laws make communities safer.” Credit: Zachary Williams via Storyful
