British athletics coach has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for a “regime of sexual abuse” against teenage girls at the club where he worked.
Philip Banning, of Penhow, south Wales, pleaded guilty at Winchester crown court to 18 charges of indecent assault against four girls, three aged under 16 and one as young as 11, dating back to the late 1970s and early 1980s.
