President Trump didn't even wait until the end of former Vice President Joe Biden's fiery speech on Wednesday afternoon before issuing a
Twitter response panning it as "boring."Biden in a speech on Wednesday afternoon went after the president following two mass shootings in El Paso,
Texas and Dayton, Ohio, saying Trump has "fanned the flames of white supremacy" and that his rhetoric is not "far" from that of the El Paso shooter, who is believed to have written a racist manifesto saying the attack was a response to what he called a "Hispanic invasion" of Texas. Biden also panned the president's Monday speech from the
White House in which he condemned white supremacy."His low energy, vacant-eyed mouthing of the words written for him condemning white supremacists this week I don't believe fooled anyone, at home or abroad," Biden said.
Trump, who during Biden's speech was aboard Air Force One on his way to visit victims of the El Paso
shooting after previously visiting victims of the Dayton shooting, fired off a response before Biden was finished speaking, deciding his speech was "sooo boring!" Biden's use of the phrase "low energy," among Trump's favorite insults, may well have touched a nerve.
