Love Island’s Tommy Fury has branded fellow contestant Anton Danyluk “childish” for unfollowing his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague on Instagram.
Anton and Molly-Mae had an awkward encounter during Sunday’s live reunion when he admitted to deleting her on the photo-sharing site. The Scottish gym owner then tried to justify his decision by claiming he and Molly-Mae “never had any chats” in the villa and the person running his
Instagram had followed her.
Reacting to the apparent feud, Tommy admitted he was surprised at Anton as he felt they were all friends during their time on the ITV2 reality show.
Speaking on Tuesday’s Capital Breakfast, he said: “I honestly couldn’t see it, I thought them two were friends because obviously we’ve been on this whole experience together so I thought everybody would be friends.”
He explained there was “just a little bit of tension” between Anton and Molly-Mae at the reunion, “purely off what Anton said and about all the unfollowing stuff and all that”.
“I think it’s a bit childish because we’re all good friends here and there’s no need for any bad blood,” he said. “And on mine and Molly’s part, there’s no bad blood, we wish him all the best.”Former islander Maura Higgins, who joined Tommy on Capital, also said she had “not noticed” and bad feeling between the pair in the villa, adding: “Everyone spoke, everyone got on.”
Anton’s partner Belle Hassan previously branded Molly-Mae “two-faced” after being voted off the Island last month. However, neither she or Tommy have yet addressed her comments.
