Lori Loughlin’s daughters
Olivia Jade and
Isabella Jade have not been officially kicked out of the
University of Southern California yet (the university was last reported to be reviewing their admissions status in April), but they have lost their status as sisters in the USC sorority they pledged, Us Weekly reports.
"Olivia and Bella were both in Kappa Kappa Gamma, and the sorority has since kicked them out and is trying to distance themselves from the situation as much as possible,” a source told the outlet. This has all been hard on them, but they’ve bonded through it. Their parent’s scandal and its fallout “has strengthened their bond more than anything possibly could,” the source said.
That source added that things were harder for Olivia first, whose influencer career suffered tremendously after it came out that Lori and Mossimo allegedly paid $500,000 to make it appear that Olivia and her sister had been rowing team recruits to guarantee their acceptance to USC. But things have since been hard for Bella too—harder even, the source asserted.
“Olivia’s world came crashing down quicker in terms of getting dumped and losing all of her business, but this all unfolded slower for Bella and it’s been more emotionally devastating," the source said.
Olivia and Bella finally broke their Instagram silence at the beginning of this week with birthday posts to their mother Lori. A source added that don’t read too much into the lovey tributes the two shared to their mother this week. "They’re showing a united front on social media, but the family is still very strained, and there’s a lot of deep-rooted hurt," the source said.
