Slack DOWN? The popular messaging app appears to be experiencing server problems and is down for thousands of users around the world.
Slack users are reporting outages with the popular messaging app around the world this afternoon with thousands of users unable to access the service.
Website monitoring service, Down Detector, is showing major issues across the network, with as many as 400 reports related to the server outage at its peak.
Attempts to reach the app returns a "server error" leaving users unable to access the app.
These issues appear to be impacting users across the world rather than one specific location.
The Slack team on Twitter has been quick to respond to the problems, telling users:
"We're receiving reports about issues with messages sending and loading. Our team is on the case and we'll report back once we have an update to share."
According to Slacks own server status page the following message has been added:
"Some workspaces might be experiencing issues with messages sending and loading. Our team is on the case and we'll report back once we have an update to share."
