Serena Williams says she has to talk to
Andy Murray about who will captain their mixed doubles team.
Williams and Murray were scheduled to get their campaign underway last night but the match was postponed until today.
The pair are gearing up to take on Andreas Mies and Alexa Guarachi at around 7pm.
It will be the first time Williams and Murray have played together and they have only had one previous practice session.
So Williams wants to ask the former world No 1 to take the lead and make the calls during the game - just like her sister Venus used to.
"Yeah, actually we need to talk about that (smiling)," Williams said.
"To be honest, Venus always is the leader of our team. I'm used to being co-captain. I actually prefer that role.
"I'm definitely going to have a talk with Andy to definitely take the lead.
"When the captain is a little nervous or something, like Venus and I sometimes, sometimes she's not having her best day, then I'm there to bring her up.
"I definitely want to have that same role. It's kind of just what I'm used to. We'll have to just talk about that."
Williams and Murray both played matches earlier in the day with contrasting results.
Three-time Grand Slam winner Murray was dumped out of the men's doubles alongside Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
Meanwhile, American Williams progressed to the fourth round of the singles with a straight-sets win against Julia Goerges.
And after the victory she said: "I just need to keep it up.
"Like I said, each match for me really counts. I haven't had a tremendous amount.
"Literally each match counts for me. It's just keep going, doing what I'm doing in practice hopefully."
