We have all made some questionable fashion choices in the past.
Jessica Biel, however, wishes she'd toned down her sex appeal in her younger days. The "Sinner"
actress, 36, opened up to InStyle about her regrets of leaving little to the imagination when it came to her wardrobe.
"I wish I would've explored some different shapes, and not gone so sexy all the time," she told the magazine in an interview published Wednesday. "I think if you look at some of my earlier choices, maybe it didn't need to always be about the body."
She continued: "I know it’s a vibe that you feel when you're young, but still that’s what I would’ve done a little differently."
Biel, who catapulted to fame in her teens as Mary Camden in the TV series "7th Heaven," said she grew up as a tomboy, which made dressing up a difficult task.
She said, "It took me a minute to get into those types of womanly things, like bags and shoes, but in my early 20s a light bulb went off and I was like, 'Oh, I get it now.' " Biel has been gracing the best-dressed lists at red carpets ever since.
Now, the mother to three-year-old Silas (with husband Justin Timberlake) turns to "jean on jean with a pair of high-tops" for her go-to look.
"For me, fashion is fun because you can be one thing one moment, and something completely different another moment," Biel said. "I just try to find a balance."
