Does this sound familiar?

The 2019
Oscars are upon us! There's only one month left until Hollywood's A-list shows up and shows out in their finest formal wear and gives America motivating speeches that will sustain society until next February. It's a big night, and even though it's just an honor to be nominated, the celebs (with the egregious exception of Timothée Chalamet) are there to win.
And while
A Star Is Born was one of the most popular movies this year, according to my Recently Played playlist,
Bradley Cooper was majorly snubbed, and Miss
Lady Gaga has some thoughts.
Yeah, Bradley was nominated in the Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay categories, but he did not get the Best Director nom he was probably looking forward to for his directorial debut. Like, this was almost definitely his face when the Best Director nominations were announced:
Now, his co-star and IRL bud Lady Gaga had an opinion all her own about the subject, and it sounds an awful lot like her favorite "100 people in a room" line. It's a great line! Who can blame her?
Essentially, she told the Los Angeles Times there could be 100 Academy voters in a room, but if B. Coop is snubbed in a category, it doesn't matter because Gaga still believes in him. In her own words, she said, "Well, you know, you never know what's going to happen. But at the end of the day, he knows that he's the best director in my eyes, and in all of our eyes as his cast." So sweet.
Gaga also added that even though his name won't be considered in that category come February, she knows "he's so happy that we've all been nominated and that the film was recognized and we all feel really, really beyond elated for the recognition."
Welp, the Academy might not appreciate Bradley for the genius director he is, but, as his character Jackson Maine would say, Bradley has "more talent in his f*ckin' finger" than most have in their whole bodies. That's something to celebrate!
