Jennifer Garner has challenged
Snoop Dogg to a dance off and we’re here for it.
The Dallas Buyers Club actress visited her own star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, after being honoured with the landmark back in August. It seems Jen, 46, wanted to give Snoop a run for his money as she copied the little dance he did when receiving his star on Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday. Whereas Snoop, 47, did his trademark Crip Walk dance, Jen opted for more of a tap-dance jig but she still slayed her moves. After all, how many of us can really dance in heels?
The Hollywood actress captioned her Instagram video: ‘Do you ever wonder what happens to the Walk of Fame Stars after the ceremony?’ Yep, we actually have. Jen continued: ‘10 hours/month performing to keep your spot—it’s in the contract. See you on Hollywood Blvd., @snoopdogg— I’ll be the one with the janky time step! (By the way—how fun would this really be?!)’ Erm hello? So much fun! It was all in celebration of Jen reaching four million Instagram followers recently and she jokingly added in hashtags: ‘#4millionthankyous #blessyourhearts #butinthenicewaynotthepassiveaggressiveway.’
Definitely waiting on Snoop’s response to Jen’s tap dance. Pretty much summing up our adoration of the Hollywood darling, one follower said: ‘I want to be best friends!! You’re my favourite of allll time and this is just the best!’ Totes could be besties. Jen’s love of dancing shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise as the Dallas Buyers Club star studied ballet for around 10 years when she was younger.
When she first joined Instagram, Jen would share ballet clips from some of her favourite dancers. Alongside one video, she said: ‘True confessions: I’ve never met any of these dancers. I’m just a ballet junkie looking for buddies… All around heaven.’ Plus, who can forget that brilliant dancing scene from 13 Going on 30? Thriller has never looked so shocking.
